HOW TO RIG LIVE WORMS

There are many way to perform it but I will demonstrate three Effective Ways:

We all grew up fishing with worms as kids and now as adults we still use worms, if you throw a worm in the water on a hook you're going to get a bite. Three key ways to rig a worm for maximum effectiveness, these three ways are a way to maximize your effectiveness with different species of fish so let's start off.

A small leaf worm and these small thin worms are ideal when it comes to pan fish and what you're going to hooked by taking  the head of the worm and put the head of the worm just poke the head through the hook and then continue sliding that worm all the way up the shank of the hook leaving the tail end dangling, this is an absolute perfect way to rig a worm for any pan fish crappies perch sunfish rock bass, it's got a little action on the tail that's what those pan fish really like this will trigger more hits on those pan fish.

 With long shank hook here for game fish I will use a leaf worm as well but I'm going to use a night crawler a whole night crawler which is a little bit bigger bait so it's going to be a little more attractive, However this is a great way to rig your worms for bass, walleye, pike, and trout just fantastic, take the head of the worm and just poke the hook through the head of the worm to get it started, then continue to feed just like you did the last one feed the worm up the hook about thee quarter of the way and then stop, you still have some room take a piece of the worm and fold it over and click, then hook it through, take another piece roll it over and hook it through, and take another piece roll it over and hook it through, now you have created a bit of a ball on the bottom of the hook you got a nice long elongated presentation a little bit of bulk and also some action on the tail this is absolutely prime, it drives those game fish crazy so you have got a combination of sleekness and bulk and that's going to trigger more bites.

For bottom feeding I will use a whole night crawler same thing as it did for the game fish except this time you don't want to sleek it, for those bottom feeding fish you want a bulk, just poke it through the head and then bring it up on the shaft, then poke it through again bring it up on the shaft poke it through again, and so on until you  get that little piece of last tail there now you see a bulky bait it's not a long slender bait with a little bit of action it's mainly bulk which trigger  the catfish and the carp.Those are three very effective way to rig a live worm.
