Spinning Surf Tackle - Spinning and casting gear is used for surf fishing, each with its advantages and disadvantages. It is also more forgiving than graphite in extreme stress and accidents. The composite stems offer an excellent compromise and the best of both worlds in terms of lightness while remaining durable.

Fishing line for surf - The fishing line for spinning and casting reels is virtually the same. Although the monoline is still the proven standard for surf fishing, especially when knot strength is important or abrasive rocks are present, more and more surfers and braids for their ratio diameter/resistance high sensitivity (for faster sets of hooks). A 20-pound test line related to a fluorocarbon shock leader should cover most situations you will encounter. Your choice, however, will depend on your preferences and the type of fishing you plan to do.
